Winter Time is here!

Nicole

November came so fast! Things are going well in the St. John family. Bella is getting bigger everyday, but still is full of energy. She is full of mischief, constantly jumping on the counter, playing with cords, and pretty much doing everything we hope she wouldn’t. But then she jumps up your lap, and loves to snuggle and sleep…and when she does that, I know that I instantly forgive her cute little face!

See how cute she is?

We just celebrated my 27th birthday…and wow does that sound old! I know it’s not old at all, but for some reason, 27 sounds so much older than 26! I think this was my first birthday that I didn’t want! We had fun though, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time with friends and family. I also had a blast shopping with all the gift cards and money recieved as presents (thanks Mom, Debbie and Eloise!), because I LOVE CLOTHES! Made turning another year older feel better =)

The rest of this month seems to be just as busy as our previous months. This weekend we head to Dream Mountain Christian Camp to support our friends Cheree, Marcos, Carl and Jesse as they have their open house for the camp they just bought. It’s so amazing to see how their dream of opening a camp has come to reality, all by the grace of God. It’s amazing how God can open doors when you just rely on Him and His provision. We are so happy for them! Then the following week is, of course, Thanksgiving, which we will be spending with Garrett’s parents. I’m excited for some good eats! After that, I will be going to see Wicked with my friend Brittany in San Francisco. Then Christmas is just around the corner….

We hope everyone has a blessed holiday season with family and friends!

We are thankful for…

Nicole

These few days off have been relaxing and fun for us as our first Thanksgiving married. On Thursday we were able to spend Thanksgiving with my mom’s side of family at my aunt’s house. We had good food, the guys played some poker, and just had some quality time with everyone.

On Friday we went over to Garrett’s parents house for games and dinner. We had fun playing Partini and Catch Phrase.  Friday night was the time I wait for all year…time to decorate for Christmas! We picked out our decorations and a tree over this last week. Then that night we turned on the Christmas tunes, with hot chocolate and a fire, set it all up, and our house is now transformed for the Christmas season.

This time of year is always my favorite. It’s a great time to spend with family, friends and to reflect on what God has blessed us with. This year we are thankful for our marriage, for time with our families, for our amazing friends, and just the little everyday blessings that God showers on us.
